The victim claimed the clenching caused the bed she was sitting on to break, angering Mattox.A fight ensued in which Mattox repeatedly hit the victim before grabbing a butcher knife and threatening to kill her. According to the report, she said, “Are you ready to die?”The alleged victim called police and the suspect fled, the report stated.Officers found no visible injuries on the woman, who refused medical attention.It was not immediately clear if police arrested the Mattox.

Mali-born Koman Coulibaly, who disallowed a crucial American goal against Slovenia Friday night, was left off the list of referees for the next two days of matches.
The game ended in a 2-2 tie, rather than a 3-2 American victory that would have marked the biggest World Cup comeback ever.
FIFA officials have been tight-lipped about the controversial call.
“We do not comment on referee decisions,” a spokesperson told The Wall Street Journal.

JOHANNESBURG — Police say a South African man who wanted to watch a World Cup match instead of a religious program was beaten to death by his family in the northeastern part of the country.
David Makoeya, a 61-year-old man from the small village of Makweya, Limpopo province, fought with his wife and two children for the remote control on Sunday because he wanted to watch Germany play Australia in the World Cup. The others, however, wanted to watch a gospel show.

Wow! What a crazy day of landscaping! This past Saturday we did 5.5 hours of work on the back yard. 10 yards of soil and mulch. 2.6 tons of rock and stone! We had to hire a few workers to help haul everything to the back yard and lay the lining. We were somewhat lucky in the sense it was an overcast but it was still about 100 degrees! We are very luck to have our neighbor doing the landscape design and will be picking up all the plants and trees next week! Just in time for MeatFest 2!
